G15 Development Director’s Black Asian and Minority Ethnic Network
The G15 & UNIFY recognise the importance of nurturing and supporting diverse talent in the sector and are pleased to announce our inaugural G15 DDBN.
Together we aim to continue addressing under-representation at Executive and Board levels by giving you an opportunity to tap into a network of Development & Sales industry leader’s with proven know-how. This network brings together over 20 mentors at Director or Head of Service level from 10 major housing associations to provide guidance and career advice to aspiring leaders.
More needs to be done to accelerate greater leadership diversity. Actions and not just words are important to us.
Together, UNIFY and GatenbySanderson, have developed a programme of bespoke initiatives, workshops and profiling development tools to accelerate learning; for new, aspiring and existing leaders, this programme will aid personal and professional development.
Meet The Team
The activities of UNIFY are led by the Core Steering Group. The members are made up of representatives from our member organisations.
We also have a variety of volunteers across different organisations all working together and helping us progress different areas.
“As a group of different BAME Networks we have struggled individually to create change within our own organisations. By working together over the years, we are now starting to see signs that the sector is changing and taking on board the ideas coming out of UNIFY'”
“I’m so proud to be part of the UNIFY journey, meeting so many amazing people, whilst also keeping how we discuss race at work firmly on the agenda!”
“The work of UNIFY is important! It's only by coming together as one that we have seen more happen in recent years. I feel supported by the UNIFY group as we are all striving for the same thing whilst sharing experiences of barriers”
